1. Purpose
WaveBump is built for professional music promotion. These Community Guidelines explain how we expect people to behave in feedback threads, comments, Discovery, Shared Links, and Team Workspaces so the platform remains useful and respectful.
These Guidelines complement the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Who These Apply To
These Guidelines apply to every user of WaveBump, including artists, producers, DJs, label staff, agency teams, recipients interacting with promo materials, and anyone commenting or leaving feedback on the platform.
3. Be Professional
Treat WaveBump as a professional environment. Communicate clearly, keep criticism constructive where possible, and assume other users are here to work with music — not to argue for its own sake.
4. Keep It Relevant
Comments and feedback should relate to the music, release, campaign, or promotional context at hand. Off-topic threads that distract from music promotion do not belong on WaveBump.
5. Respect People
Respect other users' time, identity, and work. Do not attack people for personal characteristics, background, or beliefs. Disagreement about music is fine; demeaning people is not.
6. Feedback Culture
Feedback is optional and subjective. When you leave feedback, aim for specificity that helps creators improve or understand reception. When you receive feedback, remember it reflects one listener's view and is not a WaveBump endorsement or guarantee of commercial results.
8. Discovery & Sharing
When participating in Discovery or opening Shared Links, engage in good faith. Do not misuse access to harvest contacts, scrape private materials, or redistribute promo files beyond the permissions granted to you.
9. Workspaces
Team Workspace members should use shared contacts, campaigns, and files only for legitimate Workspace purposes. Do not exfiltrate Workspace data for unrelated personal use or to harm collaborators.
10. What We Do Not Allow
Behaviour that undermines safety, trust, or the professional purpose of WaveBump is not allowed. This includes coordinated brigading, doxxing, deliberate misinformation about releases or rights, and any conduct listed as prohibited in the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Reporting Concerns
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, report it through in-product reporting tools where available, or email contact@wavebump.com. Provide enough context for us to locate the material.
12. Enforcement
WaveBump may remove content, limit features, or suspend Accounts when reasonably necessary to uphold these Guidelines, protect users, or protect the platform. We aim to act consistently and proportionately, while reserving discretion to address novel forms of abuse.
7. Comments
Comments must remain relevant to music promotion and must not contain:
